Challenge for Tories ahead of Regional Conference: Labour ask just how many millionaires in Yorkshire would benefit?
Speaking ahead of the Conservative Party Regional Conference in Wetherby this weekend, Cllr. James Lewis, Labour Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Elmet and Rothwell said:
"As local Tories are meeting in Wetherby this weekend I hope they will be able to answer some questions on what their policies would actually mean for people in Yorkshire.
"For example I think we deserve to know just how many millionaires in Yorkshire would benefit from their flagship inheritance tax cut policy?
"While they are in Wetherby I also hope they get chance to see the brand new NHS health centre delivered by Labour. They can explain to people there what their cast-iron guarntee to the NHS is really worth, when they won't back our new health care entitlements." |
